The new generation of cooperative systems provides you with all the information you need on the road directly in the vehicle, mobile phone or even glasses - where there are traffic jams, accidents, roadworks, but also the risk of slippery ice or emergency braking.

Incidents on the roads
Extraordinary events are not an extraordinary matter in the Czech Republic, Europe nor anywhere else in the world. Our job is to know about these events, constantly analyze them and, in combination with other data, ensure that subsequent problems are avoided. We pass on information about the events to the drivers and warn them of the risks that arise from the situation. An example is the detection of a traffic jam to prevent additional accidents. We then share this information through a number of different channels - C-ITS units along roads and highways, mobile applications, highway information portals, national traffic information centre and other data channels. In the C-ITS Backoffice the events can be visualized, managed or other related events can be created manually by the operators.
Information portals are gradually being built on motorways and roads. They display not only warnings about extraordinary events, but also speed limits, traffic management in individual lanes and can regulate entrances to tunnels. The construction and operation of these physical portals is very expensive, so we came up with the concept of so-called 'virtual portals'. Using hybrid C-ITS technology, it is possible to create a message in the C-ITS Backoffice consisting of a combination of traffic signs and text information, which is sent to all drivers directly at the designated location. We can also send messages selectively, for example only to certain types of vehicles. The advantage is the use of C-ITS messages standardized at the EU-level which means the information remains intelligible even for foreign drivers.

Smart mobile trailers
Short-term works on motorways are often the site of tragic traffic accidents. That is why we equip mobile warning trailers to mark these works with special C-ITS units, which detect the state of the trailers and send alerts about ongoing works to their surroundings. In addition to transmitting on a dedicated frequency of 5.9 GHz (ITS-G5), the hybrid C-ITS unit transmits the same information to the C-ITS Backoffice, from where it is distributed to a wider area. The message from the trailer can be further extended with data such as the maximum speed of the passage through the location, or information about the lane management. In addition, the fleet manager gets an overview of the location and status of all trailers in real time.

Cooperative maintenance vehicles
Road and motorway maintenance vehicles in operation are often an obstacle to normal traffic and pose a risk of an accident. The C-ITS unit located in the maintenance vehicle reduces this risk by sending alerts to the environment about the ongoing maintenance of the road, depending on the vehicle's position, speed and current activity. In addition, it sends the same information to the C-ITS Backoffice, from where it can be disseminated through other communication channels. The fleet manager gets a constant overview of the location and current activities of maintenance vehicles in real time.

Automatic traffic counters
We equip motorways and roads in the Czech Republic with automatic traffic counters. The data from the counters then serves as a basis for the analysis and evaluation of load, the identification of traffic safety risks and the planning of road network development.
